Wheeee, it’s Valentine’s Day! You know I love hearts and bows and confessions of love and everything girly – of course I love this day!
Yes, it’s about money and yes, you should show your affection every day… but I still can’t resist the charme of this day. It’s the day of love after all – note that it says love, not relationships. I don’t think you need a significant other to enjoy Valentine’s Day! You can just as well celebrate your friendships or tell your parents that you love them. But most of all, you should use today to celebrate the one person that’s the most important person in your life – yourself. Treat yo’ self!
In other news, it’s “Everybody, Everywear” today, too. The topic is pink and red. For me, soft pink and dark red will have to do. But for more Valentine’s Day spirit, I added tights with hearts on them and my favorite nerdy necklace.
Today is also the day of kitschy self portraits, yay!
